Yazid,

You can actually find a decent uniform supplier here on the site, look up the members and one has a web link to a uniform supplier( I forgot the member ) There are a couple of places you can go for tickets but southland Printing based out of Shreveport LA makes a wide asst. of tickets and is a great provider, only thing is make sure you know your accounts and how many tickets you use as it takes 20 working days from order date to get your tickets. Contact them and they wil send you a booklet on what they have. Valet Paraphenalia can be obtained easily as well, I will find a book and pass it on when I clean up my desk.
Insurance depends on what market you want, private parties, resturants, hospitals, commercial, ect. ect. How much per employee wil also depend on what type of bussiness you want to run. low ball to get accounts and pay employee cheaply, deal with high turnover but more profit. Explain to clients what your services provides, get a good number and pay your employees well, less turnover, less profit yet a better quality of labor. Depends on what you as a owner wants to deal with.
email me directly if you have any other specifics. I hope this helps

I have been visiting this site for the last three month, If there is a person or company that is seriously trying to give a good advice is a person who is using VALET MANAGER. The rest of us are one we are just using it as trying to learn something or two trying to advertise our business here. Especially PV the time that you are spending for your marking department which is HERE is not working; please live this site for serious business people.

To guest and to all,

first sorry to have been absent for so long but bussiness is booming. been flying from Atlantic City, to Yale university to D.C to houston all for our new openings next month and some openings last couple weeks. Still could use some quality CDL drivers for Yale if anyone is interested.
ANYHOW, As to the guest who asked how to get an account from a resturant or bar. Many things to look at. Do they have Valet already? if not do counts on how many people dine at what hours. You need to justify valet for the resturant. Rememeber if they do not have it already they will have to create a budget for it and sometimes thats hard to get in due to the bottom line playing such a huge role.Talk to the Manager and have all your ducks in a row prepared for the sales pitch. Just do your homework and know evry aspect of your potential client.
Chargeing is difficult due to areas. We have accounts that pay 20.00 plus an hour and we have some that pay nothing just allow us to keep the tips and the money we charge for cars useing our service. Whats the demographics like in the area you are in? You have to look at your competition as well. What do they pay your valet? This will give you a good sign of what they are chargeing. Does the valet keep tips? I would say on adverage for resturants however you are probaly in the 10-20 dollars per hour per worker.
I hope this helps and pardon me for the book but I am sitting in a daze after just getting in from New Haven CT. Tired worn down and knowing I have to fly back in 2 days arrrrggghhhh the life of a valet director.

Can anyone provide some information on how much to charge restaurants for a valet service. Or how you go about deciding what a bid should be. Charge per car? Charge per hour? Any help would be great, thanks.

i am also in the process of starting a new velet company in the atlanta area, and it seems that most places that need valet may already have it. what is the best way to get new buisness. let it be a reastaurant, bar, club, event, private, etc. can anyone also send me some basic info on insurance companies to use, wages- like hourly, nightly, and do some places just get tips and the resaurant just paysthe valet company to provide a free parking service for their buisness.
